The Rapid Response Toilet
During semester 2 of 2018 we were tasked with creating a toilet for a scenario or situation of our own choosing. The toilet was to be created from only a single sheet of corrugated cardboard, and had to support a person weight 100kg during use.
I chose to create a rapid response toilet to be used in humanitarian crises. The toilet is suitable for three different positions, squat, semi-squat, and seated (when stacked).
The prototypes were created using cardboard, and the final model was created using a single sheet of corrugated cardboard. The presentation boards were created using Adobe Illustrator.
